The Project includes work related to civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and architectural elements. The project scope can be summarized as follows: (a) The project includes the demolition and total replacement of the mechanical / HVAC systems and select services for the existing Airport Traffic Control Tower (ATCT). This stand-alone structure comprises approximately 4,800 square feet over six (6) stories. Functions include common horizontal and vertical circulation, personnel break and office space, restrooms, data/communications, electrical and elevator control rooms to support the ATCT "Cab" at the top of the structure. (b) A water-sourced heat pump (WSHP) will serve as the primary HVAC replacement system.
