The Work related to the Fairview Township Municipal Parking Lot Reconstruction Project comprises the excavation of the existing parking lot, driveway and concrete entrance; installation of subbase, base course, wearing course; concrete entrance pad; lawn restoration; painting of parking spaces and ADA parking spaces; ADA signage; milling of the Fairview Township Municipal Parking Lot located at 65 Shady Tree Drive, including grading for drainage per the plan elevations, workmanship and all appurtenances for a complete job. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or Bid Bond in the amount of 10 percent of the total Bid price, payable to Fairview Township as a guarantee that the Bidder, if its Bid is accepted, will promptly obtain the required Bonds and Insurance, prepare the required submittal documents and execute the Agreement. The Bidder shall include the fully completed Non-Collusion Affidavit, Nondiscrimination/ Sexual Harassment Clause and the Workers Compensation Certificate with the bid. All Bids shall remain irrevocable for a period of 60 calendar days from the date of Bid opening, or as allowed by law. Bids shall be submitted upon forms furnished by the Engineer, Peters Consultants, Inc. Fairview Township reserves the right to award to the most responsible Bidder on Bid Schedule and reject any part of and/or all Bids as it may best serve the interest of Fairview Township. Fairview Township reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any irregularities, and to negotiate contract amounts. Prevailing Wage Rates are required to be paid per State Regulations.
