Site work and paving for a road / highway in Waukon, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The various items of construction work are as follows: PROJECT LMP-03(2024) 999 SY. of full depth P.C.C patches on various Concrete Pavement locations throughout Allamakee County A certified check drawn upon a solvent bank in the amount as set forth in proposal form made payable to the County Auditor, shall be filed with each proposal. This check may be cashed and the proceeds retained by the County Auditor as liquidated damages if the bidder fails to execute a contract and file an approval bond for the faithful performance thereof, within thirty days after acceptance of his bid. Contractor's bid bonds will be honored according to Section 1102 of the 2024 Series of Iowa Department of Transportation Standard Specifications. The Allamakee County Supervisors and the Allamakee County Engineer reserve the right to waive technicalities and to accept or reject any or all bids. Bidders shall be on the Iowa D.O.T. prequalified bidders list or qualified bidders submitting proposals must be recognized contractors engaged in the class of work provided for in the contract documents, and must posse all necessary licenses, certificates and resources to complete the work. The current Iowa Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Construction Work, plus Current Supplemental Specifications and Special Provisions of the Iowa Department of Transportation, Highway Division, shall apply on these projects, unless otherwise specified.
