The City of Attleboro is soliciting qualification packages for professional Designer Services, per M.G.L. 7c, 44-57 for design, procurement assistance of multiple vendors, construction administration and closeout phase services as identified within the RFQ. The primary Project goal includes replacing all existing carpeting. Secondary goals may include changing or modifying existing flooring material at select locations. Existing flooring materials are carpet, VCT, tile, quarry tile, pattern mosaic tile, exposed concrete, and terrazzo. The library must remain open to the General Public while a multi-phased flooring replacement project is performed. Time is of the essence. Project completion date by September 30, 2025. The estimated total not to exceed project budget, inclusive of all soft costs (Designer and Consultant fees), and hard construction costs (Moving services and Contractor costs) is anticipated to be between $500,000 and $750,000. Funding for the project comes from two sources: ARPA funds and Municipal funds. Funding is in hand.
