Renovation of a fitness / recreation center in Attleboro, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center.
Scope consists of roof repair at the Bartek Recreation Center located at 81 Pine Street, Attleboro, MA. 1. Furnish all tools and materials necessary to complete roof repairs 2. Remove wind damaged EPDM roofing material on the south side of the building, approximately 20x20 piece. a. Furnish and install new .045 reinforced EPDM membrane in affected area b. Furnish and install new 2 plates and screws to secure new EPDM membrane at seam locations, approximately 40 l.f. c. Enhance bond between existing membrane and new EPDM membrane with 6 pressure sensitive flashing, approximately 40 l.f. d. Furnish and install new 2 plates and screws along bottom edge or roof adjacent to new EPDM membrane area, approximately 100 l.f. e. Strip in new plates and screws with the newly added 6 pressure sensitive EPDM flashing. The amount of such bid deposit shall be five percent (5%) of the value of the bid. Within ten (10) days of notification of contract award, the successful Contractor will be required to submit a Labor and Materials Payment Bond in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the contract amount to be held in the Citys Purchasing Department until all work has been accepted by the City.
