The City of Bend (City) invites sealed bids for construction of the Outback 2 and Rock Bluff Water Reservoir Restoration Project. Bids submitted in response to the ITB will only be accepted from prequalified general contractors (or general contractors who include a prequalified Coating subcontractor on their team). Prequalification has been completed per the City of Bend's formal Request for Prequalification Applications 24-3540-RFQ. A single contract will be awarded for construction of the Outback 2 and Rock Bluff Water Reservoir Restoration Project. This project involves the rehabilitation of two City water storage reservoirs. The Outback 2 and Rock Bluff Water Reservoir Restoration Project is anticipated to have a total contract value of between $1,500,000 and $2,000,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. Reservoir Dimensions: Rock Bluff: 80-feet diameter x 40-feet tall, 1.5 MG. 01300.01 System Description C. The cathodic protection system will consist of anodes suspended from the reservoir roof. The 23 individual anode strings will consist of two each 13-feet long, 1.05-inch diameter magnesium rods. Each of the 23 anode strings will be spliced to a common header cable that will terminate in the anode junction box. The anode junction box will be mounted on the roof near the roof access hatch. Summary A. This Section includes the work necessary to furnish and install sealants and caulking for a watertight seal of joints. Work includes sealing the joints between the interior interfaces of the rafter/roof intersections, sidewall/roof transition, circumferential roof plate/beam spacer bars, non-seal welded roof lap joints, and the exterior tank wall chime/concrete foundation interface.
