Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a civil project in Avoca, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

BID SECURITY in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to submit a payment bond for 100% of the contract amount and a performance bond for 100% of the contract amount within 15 days of the contract being awarded. The successful bidder will also be required to submit a two-year maintenance bond in the amount of 100% of the contract amount at the completion of the project. In addition to EEO, Executive order 11246, Contractors must also establish a 6.9% goal for female participation and 0.6% goal for minority participation in his aggregate on-site construction work force for contracts in excess of $10,000.00 as per the notice of requirement for affirmative action as contained in the contract documents. THE BOROUGH OF AVO- CA reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive informalities in the bidding. THE BOROUGH OF AVO- CA does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age, disability of familial status in employment of the provision of service. BIDS may be held by THE BOROUGH OF AVOCA for a period not to exceed ninety (90) days from the date of the Opening of the Bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids, prior to awarding the Contract.
