Renovation and addition to a clubhouse / community center in Avoca, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the addition of a 400-square-foot, one-story above grade clubhouse / community center; and for the renovation of a 1,950-square-foot, one-story above grade clubhouse / community center.

**Project has been awarded to: Contract #1 - Interior Renovations- Hadley Construction-$75,000 Contract #2 - Building Addition-H&P Construction-H&P Construction-$132,723 1. Labor, materials and Supervision for the Renovations and Addition to the Pleasant Valley VFW Post 8335 Interior Renovations 1. The interior middle bearing wall shall be removed and replace with (4) four new interior columns. New columns shall align with existing piers in basement. 2. Provide and install new wooden built-up beam for exiting ceiling joists. 3. Provide new bar counter in adjacent side room. The new bar counter shall match the existing bar counter. 4. Provide and/or relocate existing bar counter to allow for new 4' walk-thru to adjacent side room. 5. Remove existing flooring to sub-floor for new vinyl flooring. Provide leveling coarse for new vinyl flooring. 6. Provide and install new vinyl flooring throughout entire bar area, including restrooms. 7. Provide and install new 3-bay bar sink, including all plumbing. The Contractor shall connect new 3-bay bar sink to existing sanitary line in basement. 8. Provide and install new bar ice sink, including all plumbing. The Contractor shall connect new ice sink to existing sanitary line in basement. 9. Provide and install all finish work and materials as noted. 10. Remove existing wall air conditioning unit and replace with new window. 11. Remove all existing outlets for the installation of new columns and built-up beam. 12. Existing bar equipment to be relocated for new 4' walk-thru to adjacent side room. 13. Provide and install new electrical wiring, light fixtures, and receptacles in bar area. 14. Provide all electrical grounding as per N.E.C. 15. Relocate existing water line as shown on Drawing 3/A5 16. Provide and install new ceiling tiles in area of the existing and proposed new bar. 17. Tape, spackle, and paint all areas in existing bar area where renovations occurred. Painted areas shall be 1 coat of primer and 2 coats of finish paint. Building Addition 1. Construction new building addition, including foundation, wall, roof, siding, and site work. 2. Provide and install new gutters and downspouts as needed. Connect existing gutters to new gutters as needed and coordinate with Civil Drawings. 3. Provide and install new vinyl flooring throughout entire building addition. 4. Provide and install all finish work and materials as noted. 5. Provide and install new door including hardware. 6. Provide and install two new windows. 7. Provide and install new subpanel in building addition, include electrical feed from existing electrical panel. 8. Provide and install new 100A-2P breaker in existing panel for new subpanel. 9. Provide and install new electrical heating in building addition. 10. Provide and install new electrical wiring, light fixtures, and receptacles in building addition. 11. Provide all electrical grounding as per N.E.C. 12. Provide and install exterior light fixtures with timer and sensor 13. Tape, spackle, and paint all walls in building addition. Painted areas shall be 1 coat of primer and 2 coats of finish paint. 14. Provide (2) new bollards at each corner of building addition. 15. Provide ADA Parking Space, ADA Parking Sign, and line painting. 16. Mill Pavement and overlay area with Superpaver Asphalt Pavement as shown on Civil Drawings. 17. Provide positive drainage as shown on Civil Drawings. Question Deadline 11/25/2024 Every request for such an interpretation shall be made in writing to the Owner. Any inquiry received seven or more days prior to the date fixed for opening bids will be given consideration
