, BIDS are invited for the following contract: AVOCA BOROUGH GEDDING STREET SEWER AND ROAD PROJECT CONTRACT DOCUMENTS, including Drawings and Technical Specifications are on file at the Office of PENNEASTERN ENGINEERS, LLC, 165 North Wilkes-Barre Boulevard, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702. Attention is called to the Prevailing Minimum Wage requirements contained within the Contract Documents that are to be utilized for this project. BID SECURITY in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to submit a payment bond for 100% of the contract amount and a performance bond for 100% of the contract amount within 15 days of the contract being awarded. The successful bidder will also be required to submit a two-year maintenance bond in the amount of 100% of the contract amount. This project is funded by an Economic Development and Community Development Initiatives Program Grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development.
