The Borough of Avoca requires Engineering professional services and advice for the Community Development Block Grant - Calaveri Street Improvements Project located within the Borough. The proposed project involves the professional services for construction of a bituminous paved road and required drainage improvements for the limits of Cavaleri Street. Services include but are not limited to topographical survey of the project area, right-of-way/boundary determination, roadway design, drainage evaluation and design, preparation of construction plans, documents and technical specifications, project coordination, construction management and inspection. In addition, the professional services will require securing all required permits (if required) for the project. The Borough of Avoca (Non-Profit) is pleased to invite your firm to submit a written "Request for Proposal" for this project. Avoca shall negotiate a contract with the firm that submits the most advantageous proposal, subject to the evaluation of information received from interested firms, for necessary services, for a fee which the Municipality/Non-Profit determines to be fair and reasonable. Should the Municipality/Non-Profit be unable to negotiate a satisfactory contract with the firm considered to be the most qualified, the Municipality/Non- Profit shall then undertake negotiations with the second most qualified firm.
