Site work and paving for a civil project in Brenham, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Estimate: $5,258,000.00 (Base Bid) 1. Storm sewer installation and culvert replacement with associated pavement repair. 2. Bridge installation. 3. Concrete slope paving. A Bid Bond in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each Bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Brenham or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. All contractors and subcontractors must be cleared (not suspended or debarred) prior to any formal action authorizing the award of a contract to the contractor. Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises, Women Business Enterprises, and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to submit Bids. The City of Brenham reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any informalities in the Bidding. Bids may be held by the City of Brenham for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the Bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the Bidder's qualifications prior to the Contract Award.
