Reference Number: 0000358658 professional services from an experienced consulting firm(s) qualified to prepare a comprehensive parks & recreation strategic plan. The plan should create a guide with proposed standards, based on industry best practices and consistent with the identified needs and opportunities in the Town, for ensuring an appropriate and equitable balance of programs, facilities, and amenities. The plan should also include measurable strategies to achieve the recommendations, goals, policies, and guidelines. The final plan will be written to the Best Management Practices and standards as identified by the National Recreation and Park Association's (NRPA) Commission for Accreditation of Park and Recreation Agencies (CAPRA). The Town is also seeking to undertake a feasibility study for the development of a Performing Arts Center as an additional scope to the Parks, Recreation, Open Space, and Trails (PROST) Strategic Plan Update. This study aims to assess the viability, community impact, potential locations, financial implications, and operational considerations for establishing a Performing Arts Center within the community.
