Reference Number : 0000358632 Transportation & Disposal of Hazardous & Universal Waste from the Broome County Hazardous Waste Facility Purchase Type Term: 01/01/2025 12:00 AM EST - 12/31/2026 12:00 AM EST Option: Three optional 1-yr renewals - Bid Bond 5000 $ All Bidders will furnish, with their proposal/s, one (1) only Cashier's Check, Certified Check, or Bid Bond payable without condition to the Broome County Commissioner of Finance, in the amount of $5,000. Failure of a bidder to furnish one (1) Cashier's Check, Certified Check, or Bid Bond with a bid before the bid receiving deadline will result in the Bidder being indicative of non-responsibility and any bid/s submitted will not be given consideration. The proposal security may be held by Broome County for a period no longer than forty-five (45) days after which the proposal security will be returned to all proponents except the successful proponent, whose security will be held until an agreement has been executed General Requirements - Insurance Required - Local Service Required - Safety Standards Plan Award Requirements - All or None Award The County reserves the right to terminate this agreement at any time upon thirty (30) days written notice to the other party. In the event of a default and cancellation of the contract, the bidder shall be responsible for payment to Broome County of a sum equal to the additional contract costs to the County
