Renovation of a municipal facility in Montpelier, Vermont. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Description: Contractor shall furnish all the materials, tools and labor to complete the following work. Repair flood damage to Montpelier City Hall finance wing. This includes: 1. Replace and finish tape approximately 360 square feet of drywall (bottom 2' of walls). 2. Prime and finish paint approximately 1750 square feet of walls. 3. Replace approximately 260 square yards of carpet (commercial carpet tile). 4. Replace approximately 570 linear feet of vinyl cove base. 5. Contractor shall perform work to match existing finishes as closely as possible. 6. Contractor is responsible for field verifying all quantities. 7. Contractor shall provide moving services for existing office contents and shall coordinate work around ongoing office functions. Termination of Contract The contract may be terminated by the City on a specified date upon written notice to the Contractor if the Contractor: 1. Fails to begin work within the specified time. 2. Fails to pursue the work in a manner to ensure proper completion. 3. Pursues the work in a manner to render the completed project unsuitable to the City; 4. Discontinues work on the project. Any questions regarding this project must be sent via email to clumbra@montpelier-vt.org. No other form will be accepted. All questions must be submitted no later than two (2) days prior to the acceptance of bids. The City of Montpelier reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to waive any informality in the bidding per current policy.
