**As of January 10, 2025 project was awarded to Leapley Construction but awarded amount is not available.** Project Description The scope of work for this project includes, but is not limited to, providing and installation of new GSU branding exterior signage at the GSU Robinson College of Business Buckhead Center, located at 3348 Peachtree Road NE, Atlanta GA, 30326 with a GSU ‘Flame’ and ‘Georgia State University’ on the northeast side ‘Robinson’ on the Northwest side of the building parapet. The work must be performed by a General Contractor with experience working on projects of similar scope and complexity. The scope of work includes the removal of the existing curtain wall glazing, approximately 190 ft. elevation, storing glazing in owner’s penthouse mechanical room, fabrication and installation of structural supports and outrigging to support the sign, flashing and waterproofing of the exposed curtain wall, installation of new curtain wall panels and electrical feeds and submeter for signage illumination, providing the signage and installing the sign, obtaining permit(s) by City of Atlanta (as a pass thru expense and not to be included in the bid) and protection. The approved dimensions of the sign are approximately 122’ L by 4’ H. to be mounted approximately 190’ above a private drive. Project Delivery Method The delivery method for this Project will be design-bid-build and, as a minimum, will employ the services of a Design Professional, and a General Contractor. Construction Cost The Stated Cost Limitation (SCL) for this project is $ 800,000. The final SCL may be revised by the Owner due to final programmatic requirements, funding availability, bid amount or other circumstances. Project Schedule The firm Associated Space Design, dba skydesign has developed the construction design documents for the project, which are complete and available for distribution to eligible firms by December 05, 2024.
