Renovation of a fire / police facility in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
The Work includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: 1. Remove and dispose of three (3) existing manually operated roof hatch assemblies, and install new electrically operated hatches, complete with a built-in motor operator and push button control station to open and close the hatches. 2. Dismantling and temporary storage of three (3) rooftop access platforms and guards and concrete pavers. Reinstall access platforms, guards, and pavers after the installation of the new rooftop hatches. 3. Temporary disconnection, salvage, and protection of the security sensor components and wiring, and reconnect during the installation of the new hatches. 4. Install and connect wiring from the motor to the push button controller station, and connect to an existing electrical panel for power supply. 5. Reinstatements and patching of roofing materials where required. 6. Test and commission the hatch assemblies. 7. Document type and amount of debris removed from site and type and amount of materials delivered from landfill. Dated and signed document and submit with commissioning and O&M reports. 8.
