Site work for a civil project in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Conceptual plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and road / highway.
Construction of a new, all electronic tolling (e-Tolling) roadway system at the A. Murray MacKay Bridge (MacKay Bridge) and the Angus L. Macdonald Bridge (Macdonald Bridge). Work consists of the removal of existing toll plazas, Tunnels below toll plazas to be removed & filled in, installation of new e-Tolling buildings that will contain electronic systems, and other associated roadside infrastructure. TIMELINE: Tolls were officially removed from the Angus L. Macdonald Bridge and the A. Murray MacKay Bridge on March 17, 2025. The Province has eliminated tolls for these two bridges entirely.
