Site work for a civil project in 100 Mile House, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Wavey Lake Forest Service Road (FSR) has two challenges, one of beavers plugging a stream culvert at 9.2km on Ripple Lake; and the other of high-water flooding at 4km that has caused excessive erosion on a fish pipe that has a temporary fix of a bridge to allow for light frequency industrial haul and light vehicle access use. At 9.2km, the removal of a 1,000mm culvert and install a 15.2m bridge at 9.2km where in a separate dewatering contract, the water levels will be lowered to allow culvert removal in the dry; and at 4km the removal a 1,000mm culvert and install another 15.2m bridge at 4.0km. This project is required to alleviate or remove beaver dams built in or around FSR drainage structures and to rebuild fish streams with open bottom structures.
