Site work for a water / sewer project in Zion, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Project was awarded to Bowman Excavating and Paving/Concrete in the amount of $32,981.50 When requesting bidding documents provide contact person's name, phone number, and e mail address The Contract includes work at Hemlock Drive and Forest Avenue in Walker Township. Work includes installation of two Type M cast in place inlets, 60 LF of 18"" HDPEP, resetting of 110 LF of 18"" HDPEP, and yard restoration. Bid security must be provided at the time of bid submission in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price made payable to Walker Township in the form of a certified or bank check or a bid bond issued by an accepted surety and executed by the bidder. Project cost is under $100,000 and is therefore not subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act Walker Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any bidding informalities. Award of the contract will be considered at the regular scheduled Supervisors' meeting to be held on Wednesday April 2, 2025. Questions must be received by end of day March 27, 2025.
