Scope: This specification covers electrical, mechanical, and safety features and characteristics of outdoor, single-phase, mineral-oil filled, 60 Hz, self-cooled, step-type voltage regulators. The voltage regulator must be completely self-contained and provide 10 percent regulation in thirty-two (32) steps of approximately 5/8 percent each. In order to minimize losses, ensure long life, and provide required overload ability, forced air (ONAF) ratings are not acceptable to achieve the nominal kVA rating. Clarification Deadline 11/14/2024 5:00 PM Questions concerning the work requirements of this bid should be submitted through the Purchasing Portal at www.town.wallingford.ct.us or at https://wallingford.procureware.com. Verbal inquiries and any subsequent verbal responses will not be binding to the Town of Wallingford.
