In accordance with Ohio Revised Code Sections 153.65 through 153.71, is soliciting Statements of Qualifications ("SOQs") from qualified design professionals for architectural design services in connection with the District's 'FACILITY MASTER PLAN' (the "Project") as described below. Received qualifications may be retained in a file maintained by the Owner for "design professional qualifications." The file may be used for the Owner's projects or design needs for which design fees are estimated to be less than $50,000. Participating firms shall submit annual updates to the qualifications file to keep qualifications current. The Project consists of developing a "Facility Master Plan" for the Owner which will include, but is not limited to, safety and security upgrades to the main entry, the addition of a Health Tech Lab, the addition of new labs and or moving of labs to a new locations and upgrades to other parts of the building. The Professional Design Services for the Project may include but are not limited to Assessing the current facility and site; collecting and analyzing data to determine the desired direction of the Project (including, as necessary, interviews with staff and stakeholders, developing preliminary cost estimates, preliminary schedule development, advising the Owner on appropriate construction delivery methods (GC, CMR, DB), conceptual site plan design, and visual images of the overall Project). Coordination and attendance at meetings with the Owner's staff, administrators, and Project stakeholders (including; development of presentation materials; presentation at Board meetings as requested) Advise the Owner of potential funding opportunities for the proposed Work. Other services may be necessary or appropriate for the assessment and facility master plan, which may include, but are not limited to renovations, additions, repairs and upgrades to the current facility and/or such additional improvements deemed necessary by the Owner SOQs should describe the firm's capabilities to provide the specific Professional Design Services listed herein and should include: (a) Firm background and history; (b) Team member qualifications, experience and expertise; (c) Firm Experience in: i. Master Planning; ii. Career Tech; iii. Renovation of existing facilities; and iv. Ohio public school construction. (d) Current team capacity and workload; (e) Estimating (cost and schedule) expertise; (f) Ability to successfully coordinate master planning efforts to design development and ultimate construction of Project; (g) References. Any questions regarding the content of this Request for Qualifications ("Request") must be directed in writing via email to: Dr. Todd Phillipson, Superintendent, phillipson@jeffjvs.org by 5:00 pm, 5 days prior to the submittal deadline. Questions will be reviewed and the Owner will determine whether any addenda should be issued as a result of any pertinent or substantive inquires. Addenda will be issued to all firms that have requested the RFQ for the Project. Firms shall not rely on any oral instructions or answers. The Owner reserves the right to waive any defect or technicality in the submission of any qualifications, and may disqualify any firm that submits incomplete qualifications or is not responsive to the requirements of this Request. In accordance with Ohio Revised Code 153.65-71, responding firms will be evaluated against the evaluation criteria listed herein. The District will select and rank the three firms it considers most-qualified to provide the requested services. As part of its evaluation, the Owner may hold interviews with individual firms. Following this evaluation, the Owner expects to enter into contract negotiations with the firm ranked most qualified to perform the services needed. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time
