Description

Site work for a civil project in Providence, Rhode Island. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Vendor to provide labor and materials to reline the walls of Narragansett Bay Commission's (NBC) Sodium Hypochlorite Solution Storage Tank #5, per NBC specifications. Tank #5 is located at the Field's Point Wastewater Treatment Facility (FPWWTF), 2 Ernest Street, Providence, RI 02905. A) Vendor will be responsible for relining/repairing walls for one (1) tank (Tank #5) at NBC FPWWTF and perform necessary repairs to any cracks or fittings as discovered. B) The five (5) FPWWTF Hypochlorite Storage Tanks are located outside and were manufactured by Justin Tanks, Model T-130, Custom Designated & Fabricated Filament Wound Fiberglass Tanks. Tanks are 12 feet in diameter and 18.8 feet in overall height. Each tank has a 12,500-gallon capacity. Question Deadline 07/29/2024 at 3:00 PM ET Questions regarding bid specifications can be addressed to Eugene Sorkin, NBC principal facilities engineer via email esorkin@narrabay.com Term of Service for the relining of tanks will be from July 1, 2024, to September 30, 2024, with reserve timeline from April 15, 2025, to June 15, 2025. Tank #5 will be taken offline for relining and cleaned by NBC. The vendor must schedule the start of the project with an NBC designated representative. Project must be completed by June 30, 2025.
