A. Stipulations 1. Applicable requirements of the General Conditions for Construction dated 2022, Special Requirements and all related Sections of the Contract Documents apply to this entire Specification and shall have the same force and effect as if printed herewith in full. 2. In the event of conflict between these Specifications and Federal, State, and Local law/codes, the latter will take precedence. 3. In all cases where a device or part of the equipment is herein referred to in the singular, such reference shall apply to as many such items as are required to complete the installation. 4. Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Specifications, Publication 408, dated 2020 (408/2020), and all supplements thereto is referenced throughout this Specification. Should any item not be included in these Specifications, Publication 408/2020 Specifications shall govern. Work included under this Contract consists of the design construction for a new bolted steel potable water tower at Ohiopyle State Park. Major items of work include design plans, permitting and construction of a new 150,000 gallon bolted steel potable water storage tank. The existing 225,000 gallon tank will be demolished once the new tank is put into service. Site improvements include new gravel access drive and parking area, chain link fencing, site grading for and around the water tower, storm drainage, and erosion and sediment controls.
