Metro Transit is requesting bids for materials and labor as related to the replacement of glass panels that have been broken due to vandalism or other unforeseen incidents at Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) stations. Based on past history of similar bus shelter damages, estimation of 50-60 panels of glass have been replaced annually. Based on past experience as relates to glass damage to similar bus shelter amenities, Metro has replaced 50-60 glass panels annually.
