Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Denver, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Reference Number : 0000358368 Soliciting proposals from qualified vendors ("Respondents") to repair multiple trail washouts and improve drainage at Prairie Gateway Open Space using a combination of erosion control measures, as described in this Request for Proposals ("RFP"). The selected Respondent is expected to repair the soft surface trail, remediate the erosion along the slope adjacent to the trail, and design/install a long-term solution for drainage to prevent future erosion, as more fully detailed in the Scope of Services section of this RFP ("Services") Contractor shall prepare and submit to the City for approval a project management plan that: 1. Provides an approach to erosion control/trail remediation + materials. 2. Provides a safety plan (signs, cones, etc.). 3. Provides a list of equipment to be used and how damage to soils/native plants/open space shall be mitigated. 4. Provides a detailed revegetation plan. 5. Contractor will conduct an on-site project kickoff inspection meeting to walk the length of the project. This inspection will be attended by members of the contractor's team and Commerce City staff. Meetings will be agreed upon with both parties prior to commencing. 6. Contractor will promptly respond to City requests (both routine and emergency). 7. Contractor will coordinate the project with all affected parties, adjacent properties, key stakeholders, utility owners, railroads, and any required government agencies. 8. The project location is adjacent to the Rocky Mountain Arsenal, the Contractor will be required to coordinate the project with this entity. 9. Contractor will coordinate work activities with other contractors and/or City staff. 10. Contractor will attend regular progress meetings as deemed appropriate by the City. At least three (3) meetings with up to three (3) Contractor staff members are to be included in the scope of work for the project. 11. Contractor will prepare weekly reports to Commerce City outlining work completed to date, work to be completed. This RFP provides a general description of services anticipated, submittal requirements, outlines selection criteria and the selection process. A response to this RFP ("Proposal") should serve as a complete approach to providing the services. Joint submittals are encouraged to ensure the ability to provide all services requested in this scope. Any proposed subcontractors/team members must be identified and their roles clearly defined in the Proposal.
