Salt Storage Building All bidders required to provide bid bond in the amount of 5% of bid (or certified check) Contractor to provide performance and payment bonds in the amount of 100% of contract amount The City Council reserves, to itself, the right to reject any or all bids and to award the contract as it deems necessary and in the best interest of the City of Minot Overview: 65 feet wide x 80 feet long, 3-sided singular open-ended building (back upper level window type opening acceptable) to store road salt. Building to be erected on contractor-supplied concrete drilled pier foundations extending 2 above grade Interior bunker wall systems to be constructed using 8 tall precast bunker panels along back wall and both sidewalls Alternate pricing to include center divider Building required to have a minimum interior vertical clearance of 29-4 tall (including foundation) from finished floor to center as shown in the drawing. Contractor must provide engineered, stamped drawings for buildings and foundations by a licensed engineer in the state of where the project is located. Work must be completed in 120 days after notice to proceed. City of Minot reserves the right to award contract to lowest, most responsible bidder.
