Renovation of a parking garage in Miami Beach, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.
Estimated Amount: $199,000.00 The City of Miami Beach Facilities and Fleet Management Department requests your quote for the roof replacement and waterproofing system at the 16th St. Parking Garage (The Anchor Garage), located at 100 16th St., Miami Beach, FL 33139, pursuant to and in accordance with the specifications contained herein. Questions will be allowed up until 10:00 AM ET on August 6th, 2024. Questions must be directed to PMPurchasing@miamibeachfl.gov. The project involves replacing the retail roof at the 16th Street Parking Garage, which encompasses two distinct roofing systems: a 2200 SF (Square Feet) waterproofing system on the east and south sides of the building, and a 75 SF standard roofing system replacement on the northeast, north, and west sides. Bidder shall be State of Florida Certified Roof Contractor in the State of Florida, Department of Business and Professional Regulations to be considered for award. Days for Substantial Completion: 180 days Days for Final Completion: 30 days Department reserves the right to request a Schedule of Values for all bids received. The City of Miami Beach Facilities and Fleet Management Department requests your quote for the roof replacement and waterproofing system at the 16th St. Parking Garage (The Anchor Garage), located at 100 16th St., Miami Beach, FL 33139, pursuant to and in accordance with the specifications contained herein. City departments may, but are not required to, utilize the results of this ITQ to acquire the referenced service. Award of ITQ does not grant the successful contractor(s) exclusive rights or any guarantee of work to provide the services. General Conditions: o Pricing to include all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and mobilization. o Any change order must be approved by the Project Manager prior to beginning work. o Vendor will be responsible for all permits, as required. o Contractor shall maintain the site free of debris and trash to be picked up daily. o Department reserves the right to request a Schedule of Values for all bids received. o The City may reject any or all quotations, or any portion of the quotation, as it deems in the best interest of the City. o Contractor is to provide pricing for work to be performed during business hours. o Sales tax is to be included in the bid. Scope of Work: The project involves replacing the retail roof at the 16th Street Parking Garage, which encompasses two distinct roofing systems: a 2200 SF (Square Feet) waterproofing system on the east and south sides of the building, and a 75 SF standard roofing system replacement on the northeast, north, and west sides. o Contractor shall visit the site to verify the estimated quantities, repair locations, and overall conditions of the existing site. o Contractor shall survey all representative repairs indicated in the As-built plans in writing to the Project Manager before proceeding with work. o A list of pre-approved roofing repair materials is indicated in the construction documents; the contractor may substitute the materials for equivalent products by submitting product data sheets and specifications. o The contractor is to prep all surfaces, including grinding off all existing coatings and thoroughly pressure-cleaning the entire roof. o Contractor is to provide pricing for work performed during business hours.
