The owner has selected a Construction Manager. A timeline for construction has not yet been established. The City of Dickinson is interested in entering into a professional services contract with a consulting firm to provide Construction Management At-Risk (CMAR) Services for: Baler Building Expansion The Baler Building expansion will consist of solid waste processing space, an office remodel and expansion, equipment relocation, scales & scale house, cold storage, and public drop off area. Estimated Square Footage Solid Waste Processing Space - 10,000-ft^2 Scale House - 200-ft^2 Includes 3 above ground scales Cold Storage - 5000-ft^2 New Office & Remodel - 4500-ft^2 Including FFE Paving/Public Drop Off Area - 45,000-ft^2 Including grading and landscaping The plans are 60% complete and holding for the CMAR to be on-boarded. Other items include equipment relocation, mechanical, electrical, and Information Technology support equipment. The city anticipates obtaining the first building permits in 2024 and constructed by October 2026.
