Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a library in Dickinson, Texas. Completed plans call for the addition of a 2,900-square-foot library; for the demolition of a library; for the renovation of a library; and for site work for a library.

The City of Dickinson is interested in entering into a professional services contract with a consulting firm to provide Construction Management At-Risk (CMAR) Services for: Dickinson Public Library Expansion. The Dickinson Public Library will be expanding its reading area by 2900-ft^2. The project will include demolition of existing entryway and construction of a new entry isle and seating area. The Library is a historic building and requires coordination with the State Historical Preservation Office. The project will include FFE, grading, and landscaping. Plans for the building are in the detailed design stage and anticipated to be complete by October 2024, with completion by March 2026. Work with architect to obtain the best value and contain costs within the total cost for each project as follows: Dickinson Public Library: $2.0 Million Select CM Services - August 23, 2024 Begin CM Services - September 2, 2024 Microsoft Teams RFI Meeting - August 6, 2024 10:00 AM MDT*
