The Work of this Contract includes the installation of new water mains in up to nine (9) separate project areas in Tonopah, Nevada to replace existing 2-inch and 3-inch galvanized and lead water mains. The scope of work generally includes installation of approximately 9,300 feet of new 6-inch and 8-inch C900 PVC water mains with connections to existing intersecting water mains, and reconnection of all existing water meters within the project areas, as well as new air-vac valve and hydrant assemblies where required. The project consists of two parts; the first part consists of three project areas to be funded by the State of Nevada Office of Financial Assistance State Revolving Loan Fund (SRF). This includes Rhines Trailer Park, Magnolia Ave / Nickie Alley and the portion of Central Street between Knapp Ave and Brougher Ave. The second part of the project consist of up to six project areas to be funded by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). Four of these project areas, including Oddie/Burro/Brougher Ave, South Street between Cross Ave and McCulloch Ave, Prospect Street between Bryan Ave and Cross Ave, and Booker Street between Bryan Ave and Cross Ave are included in the Base Bid. Two additional ARPA project areas, Stewart Street and Idaho Street / Old McCulloch are included as Additive Alternatives. The owner will award None, One, or Both Alternatives based on available funds and may eliminate up to one area of each Base Bid Schedule.
