The County of Orange, Orange County Sheriff-Coroner Department, (hereinafter referred to as "County" or "OCSD") is requesting competitive sealed bids from pre-qualified firms, (hereinafter referred to as "Bidder") for Job Order Contracting (JOC) for General Building Services. The awarded contract, (hereinafter referred to as "Contract"), will be a usage Contract between the County and awarded Bidder (hereinafter referred to as "Contractor") in accordance with the Model Contract, attached hereto and incorporated herein, and Scope of Work attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference as Attachment A. The proposed Contract shall be effective for one (1) year, or until the total Contract amount is reached, whichever occurs first. The Contractor shall possess a current State of California Class B General Building Contractor's license issued by the California State Contractor's License Board. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish an initial Performance Bond in the amount of $500,000.00 and an initial Payment Bond in the amount of $500,000.00, said bonds to be first approved by the County Counsel and the Risk Manager of Orange County Question Deadline 08/06/2024 at 4:00 PM PT All questions and inquiries related to this Invitation for Bids (IFB) must be directed to: the County's online The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in any bid received.
