The County of Orange, Orange County Sheriff-Coroner Department, (hereinafter referred to as County or OCSD) is requesting competitive sealed bids from pre-qualified firms, (hereinafter referred to as Bidder) for Job Order Contracting (JOC) for Mechanical Services. The Contractor shall possess a current State of California Class C-4 (Boiler, Hot Water Heating and Steam Fitting), C-20 (Warm-Air Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning), AND C-36 (Plumbing) Contractors license issued by the California State Contractors License Board. Each bidder must submit with his bid a certified or cashier s check, cash or an original bidders bond issued and executed by an admitted Surety insurer (authorized to transact surety insurance in California), made payable to the order of the County of Orange in an amount not less than ten percent of the Total Contract Amount The successful bidder shall be required to furnish an initial Performance Bond in the amount of $500,000.00 and an initial Payment Bond in the amount of $500,000.00, said bonds to be first approved by the County Counsel and the Risk Manager of Orange County. question Submission Deadline: August 6, 2024, 4:00pm The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in any bid received.
