Renovation of a fire / police facility in Baraboo, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
Questions regarding the project can be sent to William Commings at william.commings@saukcountywi.gov Question Deadline 08/29/2024 SPECIFICS 2.1 Remove South Water Heater that is currently not working and dispose of materials. 2.2 Replace with 3 Bock OT500N2 Direct Fired 500,000 BTU Water Heaters or equivalent to. 2.3 Tie to existing piping and install reverse return piping for new Water Heaters. 2.4 (1) Bocknet or equivalent Bacnet system will have to be installed for remote access into Siemens Desigo BAS software. 2.5 Tie into existing gas lines. 2.6 Venting will have to be vented outside. 2.7 Reroute piping if needed. 2.8 Move current circulation pumps from ceiling location and reinstall closer to new Water heaters. 2.9 Insulate new piping as required. 2.10 Once the (3) Bock or equivalent Water Heaters are installed and running for a minimum of 7 days, the North Water Heater is to be removed and disposed of. 2.11 Eliminate any piping that is not needed and capped off. 2.12 Sauk County will contract with an Electrical and Software Contractor. The selected Bidder shall furnish Bonds covering the faithful performance of the Contract and payment ofall obligations to subcontractors and others who provide materials or labor. ("Bonds"). Bonds may be secured through the Bidder's usual source. Cost of Bonds shall be included in the Bid.
