This document constitutes a request for sealed Bid from qualified vendors to complete Exterior condenser and AHU coil replacement at the UW Platteville Baraboo Sauk County Campus located at 1006 Connie Rd. Baraboo, Wisconsin.. Sauk County is looking to replace the existing Carrier 38AKS028---600 condenser unit & Air Handling Unit cooling coil in the Hill Music Center on the UW Platteville Baraboo-Sauk County campus. 1 Remove existing Carrier condenser unit and Air Handlining Unit cooling coil and any necessary piping. Existing unit is a 3PH 460, with R22 refrigerant 2 Contractor to take away existing condenser, coil, & any piping removed. 3 Replace with similar ton unit. Acceptable replacement units are Trane, Daikin, or Lennox 4 Replacement unit will be placed on existing concrete pad 5 Existing electrical feeds will be re-used. 6 Existing pathways will be used to install any replacement piping from new condenser to new coil in the air handler. 7 Insulate all new piping as required. 8 Sauk County will contract separately with an Electrical contractor for any electrical changes needed. The work included in this request for Bid shall be substantially completed by May 2nd, 2025. The selected Bidder shall furnish Bonds covering the faithful performance of the Contract and payment of all obligations to subcontractors and others who provide materials or labor. ("Bonds"). Bonds may be secured through the Bidder's usual source. Cost of Bonds shall be included in the Bid. A Bid bond in the amount equal to 5% of the proposers bid. Use AIA A310 Bid Bond Form. The security deposit will be returned after delivery to the Owner of the required Performance and Payment Bond(s) by the accepted bidder. Sauk County reserves the right to reject any and all Bid.
