Zajak Drive Trail Project Site Address: Zajak Drive The Project includes the following Work: Construction of a paved trail along the north side of Zajak Drive, extending from Connie Road to the west end of the recently constructed parking lot for the West Baraboo Village Park. Work shall include but is not limited to: o Unclassified Excavation o Traffic Control o Erosion Control o Storm Sewer Installation o Asphalt or Concrete Pavement and Base Course o Concrete Sidewalk, Curb and Gutter o Turf/Site Restoration o Coordination with Private Utility Contractors The anticipated substantial completion date is May 21, 2025, and final completion date is June 13, 2025. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the Owner as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The minimum wages to be paid on the project shall be in accordance with the wage rate scale established by local wage rates.
