Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Mississauga, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
The City is seeking detailed bids from construction firms to provide complete construction management services for Fire Alarm and Fire Protection System Renewal (Scope A) and Emergency Generator Replacement and Upgrades (Scope B), located at City Hall, 300 City Centre Drive, Mississauga ON, L5B 3C1. The successful bidder will be part of two (2) separate teams formed by the City and consultants for the implementation of the project. One team will be for Scope A, and a separate team will be for Scope B. The City requires that the construction administration of Scope A and Scope B are separate and distinct. This includes, and is not limited to: Design meetings; Construction meetings; Written correspondence; Communications (shop drawings/RFI/PCO/CO/CD); Quotations; Project schedules; Schedule of values; Progress billing applications; Deficiency lists; Training and Close-out procedures. The Construction Manager's Fee will be a fixed fee as determined by the City and shown in the Schedule of Prices for all phases and is excluded from the Construction Budget. The Construction Manager's Fee will be paid in accordance with the City of Mississauga Amendments to CCDC 5B - 2010 Contract. The Construction Manager's Fee and the Construction Budget will be divided between Scope A and Scope B as outlined below. Should the value of the work exceed the total Construction Budget, or should the value of the work for Scope A and/or Scope B exceed the Construction Budget for their respective Scope, the City reserves the right to revise or remove all or any part of the Scope and adjust the Construction Manager's Fee accordingly. Pre-Construction Phase Pre-Construction Phase Commence on September 30, 2024 or sooner, subject to issuance of a purchase order Substantial Completion February 27, 2026 Post-Construction Phase for 1-year warranty period Ending on February 27, 2027 The building requires lifecycle renewal of the existing Fire Alarm system, the existing Fire Protection/Sprinkler System (partial renewal) and their components. Construction Manager's Fee - $120,000.00 Construction Budget - $4,000,000.00.
