The work covered by this section consists of preparatory work and operations, including but not limited to those necessary for the movement of personnel, equipment, supplies, and incidentals to the project site; and for all other work and operations which must be performed or costs incurred prior to beginning work on the various items on the project site. This item shall also cover the mandatory project schedule to be updated and provided to the Engineer, as described herein. The Project consists of constructing a new LED Rotating Beacon, LED REILS, and relocating the PAPI PCU outside of the Runway Safety Area (RSA). A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5% percent of Bidders maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base bid and all alternates) and in the form of a certified check, bank money order, or a Bid bond (on the form included in the Bidding Documents) issued by a surety meeting the requirements.
