The Maryland Department of Transportation, State Highway Administration Owings Mills Maintenance Shop, located at 10690 Red Run Boulevard, Owings Mills, MD 21117, is soliciting Lump Sum bids for a qualified contractor to provide and install one new ( 5 Ton RTU) package unit equal to the original equipment design specifications of the Owings Mills Maintenance Facilities (AAON RK-3FO-322 S 200109-AKGD27955) roof top package unit with Gas Heat. This is a Small Business Reserve Procurement for which award will be limited to Certified Small Business vendors. Only vendors that meet the statutory requirements set forth in State Finance and Procurement Article Subsections 14-501 - 14-505, Annotated Code of Maryland, and who are registered with the Department of General Services Small Business Reserve Program are eligible for award of a contract. Any information regarding the requirements or the interpretation of any provision of the Contract Documents shall be requested, in writing, and delivered no fewer than five (5) business days before bid opening. Bids, requests for withdraws, and modifications not received by the time and at the place indicated are late and may only be considered in accordance with COMAR 21.05.02.10. Bids will be opened publicly in accordance with the provisions in COMAR 21.05.02.11. Prices submitted in response to this solicitation are irrevocable for ninety (90) days following the due date. The Procurement Officer may, however, request vendors to extend the time during which the State may accept their bids. Once a bid is accepted, all prices, terms, and conditions shall remain unchanged throughout the contract period. The duration/term of the Contract is five (5) months. The contract will expire on January 31, 2025.
