HHSC PCS is seeking competitive bids to establish contract(s) for boiler maintenance services at the Abilene State Supported Living Center. The required services to be provided are boiler services at the Abilene State Supported Living Center (SSLC). The Contractor shall provide as needed services to the four (4) boilers on campus. Services include installation, troubleshooting, adjustment, repairs, and replacement parts, deaerator system, feed water pumps, boiler burner, high and low water devices, McDonald Miller valves, visual sight glasses used to monitor water levels, Honeywell valves both electric and mechanical used to add makeup water to the four (4) boilers, master controllers in the Powerhouse and Laundry on campus. The Contractor shall be able to troubleshoot and repair boiler burner systems and make repairs to blower systems. The Contractor shall be able to troubleshoot natural gas piping and control systems and be able to repair any actuators that are not functioning properly. The Contractor shall be able to perform pressure test on boilers after annual inspections (inspections are performed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation) and properly repair any tubes or pressure apparatus after inspections. The Contractor shall have the ability to troubleshoot and repair high and low water sensors and trouble shoot McDonald/Miller valves. Contractor shall possess knowledge of deaerator tank and system to include electrical sensors and floats, valving, and sight glasses. The HHS Agency reserves the right to accept or reject the request for a price adjustment. The Contractor will receive written notification, through a Purchase Order Change Notice or Contract Amendment, from the HHS Agency Contract Manager documenting action taken, to include effective dates, for any adjustments approved.
