As of September 18, 2024 this project was awarded to Spires Paving with the awarded amount of $142,219.60 The project work shall consist of pavement planning and over layas provided for in the scope of work and related appurtenances and equipment, including all labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the construction in accordance with the Contract Documents Inlieu of posting the bond, a bidder may use a Cashiers Check, Certified Check or Letter of Credit for ten percent of the Contractors bid security. When a check or letter of credit is used, the bidder shall be required to post a 100 percent Performance Bond and a100 percent Labor and Material Payment Bond, upon the signing of the contract. The owner intends and requires that this project be completed no later than October 31, 2024 The Village of Albany reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and the right to accept the lowest and best bid, the right to waiver minor irregularities on any bid, and the right to accept the bid proposal which promotes the best interest of the Village. The contractor shall provide the following scope of work including all material, labor, and equipment required to perform the work in accordance with 2019 ODOT specifications. All joints shall be sealed with a bituminous sealer. All areas overlaid shall also include a layer of ODOT 407 Tack Coat on the existing pavement applied at a rate of 0.09 gallons / S.Y. There shall also be a 1 foot wide berm using ODOT Item 411 Stabilized Crushed Aggregate on all streets overlaid as necessary in uncurbed areas. Manholes and water valves shall be adjusted to grade to ensure they are level with the proposed pavement. The contractor will be required to dispose of all spoil materials. Pavement markings shall be as requested by the Village of Albany. The paving shall be performed on the following streets to approximate measurements shown. The Owner reserves the right to eliminate or add streets as necessary.
