Renovation of a municipal facility in Cottleville, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Scope of work: - 100% Tuckpoint exterior from west side "front of City Hall" to North side of City Hall to approximately the second down spout as shown in appendix A and B. - Limestone and entry area included. - Caulking the limestone coping transverse joints are included. - Set up a controlled access zone around work area with barricades and caution tape to flag off area. - Remove downspouts to 100% tuckpoint as needed, repair as needed. - Grind existing mortar to 3/4 " and prep joints for new material. - Install new type N mortar and tool uniform, concave joint profile. - Mortar color to be selected by the City of O'Fallon MO. - Once cured, wash with 600 masonry detergent. - State regulations and Osha require grinding of any material containing silica to be performed with grinders that have Hepa filtered vacs attached. All waste to be disposed of properly. The City of O'Fallon, Missouri is soliciting bids for services related to tuckpointing at various city buildings. The City of O'Fallon reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any irregularities. The City of O'Fallon also reserves the right to select the lowest and/or best bidder as determined by the City in its sole discretion. Question Deadline 08/30/2024 at 4:00 PM CT
