The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to obtain competitive proposals from qualified suppliers to furnish reverse osmosis equipment at the City of O'Fallon, Missouri's Water Treatment Plant As indicated in Attachment A. The goal of this RFP is to pre-select the equipment supplier and pre-negotiate a cost for the equipment. The decision made by the City to pre-select the supplier based on qualifications is final. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, in whole or in part, as may be in its best interest and to waive minor irregularities and informalities. This RFP provides prospective companies with sufficient information to enable them to prepare and submit proposals for consideration by the City of O'Fallon (hereafter referred to as "the City") to satisfy the needs as outlined in the scope of services. The equipment procurement and installation will be part of an overall Water Treatment Plant Improvement project, currently being designed by Black & Veatch and scheduled to bid for construction in late 2024. The City will not pre-purchase or procure this equipment, but will provide the pre-negotiated price to all prime contractors to include in their bids. The equipment supplier will then be required to enter into a contract with the awarded Contractor for the overall construction project. Unless stated otherwise, all orders placed are non-refundable. Corporate, certified, or cashier's checks shall be made payable to Drexel Technologies.
