Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Saddle River, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The scope and approximate quantities of major work items are as follows: Resurface Existing Multi-Purpose Asphalt Path 3,006 SY Construct New Asphalt Paths including widening 298 SY Construct New Septic System 1,500 Gallon Septic and Pump Tanks, 1,344 SF Field Landscaping Improvements including Kiosk and Planting Each Bid must be accompanied by a Certified or Cashier's Check or Bid Bond to the order of the Borough of Saddle River, N.J. in the amount equal to 10 percent of the amount bid for road construction, not to exceed $20,000.00. Each Bid must also be accompanied by an agreement to become Surety properly executed by an approved surety company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey with underwriting capacity in the State of New Jersey at least equal to 100% of the amount the Bid. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish Bonds for the faithful performance of the Contract, and to secure the payment of all claims for services performed and materials and equipment furnished. The prescribed Forms for such Bonds are contained in the Bid Package and must be used. No substitute forms of bonds will be accepted. Each Bond must be in the amount of not less than 100 percent of the Total Price Bid for the completed Work and similarly must be issued by Sureties authorized to business in the State of New Jersey with sufficient underwriting capacity in the State of New Jersey (as defined above) and good and current standing. The Borough of Saddle River reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any defects or informalities in the Bids received, and to accept any Bid which is deemed most favorable to the Borough of Saddle River.
