Renovation of an educational facility in Saddle River, New Jersey. Working plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

As of March 11, 2024, this project has been canceled. Toilet renovations at Wandell Elementary School, including new mechanical, electrical and plumbing fixtures, with new toilet partitions, floor and wall finish upgrades. Sealed bids will be received for the following contract: 1. Overall Single Prime (all of the work) C. One (1) Original and (1) copy of the Bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to Ms. Kaitlyn Lawler, Business Administrator and shall be identified on the outside of the package (outside of mailing package if mailed) with the following: Bid for Toilet Upgrades at the Wandell Elementary School. All technical questions, comments, and inquiries should be directed to Solutions Architecture; the last day for questions is February 21, 2024 by 3:00 pm. G. Bids shall be made on the Forms of Proposal provided and must be accompanied by bid security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Each bidder shall submit with its bid, a Certificate of Consent of Surety as per N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-25 from a Surety company stating that it will provide the bidder and all subcontractors, if successful, with a performance/payment bond in the full amount of the contract. I. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. N.J.S.A. 18A:-18A-36(a). All inquiries concerning prequalification should be directed to Division of Property Management and Construction, Taxation Building, 8th Floor, West State and Willow Streets, Trenton, New Jersey 08625. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive informality in the bidding if it is in the best interest of the Owner to do so and to award contracts only to those whose proposal is deemed by the Owner to be most advantageous to the interest of the public. K. Attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements of employment and minimum wage rates to be paid under the Contracts pursuant to N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq ***Document Note: If contract documents are to be mailed or Fedex'd an additional charge of $25.00 will be required, and the bidder must provide their FedEx Account #.
