Renovation of a military facility in Amity, Arkansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
The project consists of a complete building envelope upgrade. Upgrades shall include but not be limited to the complete removal of all earth from around the entire first floor of the building and demolition of all concrete tunnel structures, sidewalks, and ramps. Doors at 2nd floor level no longer needed shall be removed and filled in with like construction. All existing roofing, fascia's and flashings shall be removed and replaced with new. This entire building shall be "reskinned" with EIFS, and a Split Faced CMU wainscot. The addition of an exterior stair or stairs shall also be included. New Doors and canopies as well as lighted walks will be provided as deemed appropriate. Interior renovations include partial replacement of flooring and ceilings that were damaged by water and repainting areas where moisture and water infiltration has occurred through exterior walls. Underground drainage and other utilities under the earthen mound surrounding the ground floor will need to be removed and either disposed of or re-routed. Surface mounted concrete pads with Electrical or Mechanical equipment will need to be relocated or replaced as needed for future use.
