The City of Golden Valley Parks & Recreation Department seeks a qualified contractor to provide services to design, provide and install the play structure at Natchez Park. The park is located at 201 Natchez Ave N in Golden Valley. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to request additional information. This RFP shall not commit the City to engage any company for the services described in this RFP. A neighborhood meeting will be hosted by staff for the selection of the new play structure at Natchez Park. The neighborhood recommendation will be forwarded to the City Council for approval. The City reserves the right to reject some or all of the proposals. The budget for this play structure replacement project is not to exceed $90,000.00, • The selected contractor is requested to provide the maximum amount of play activities for the proposed fee and; • The Parks and Recreation Department is challenging contractors to use their professional expertise and creativity to develop unique play structure options for Natchez Park The selected contractor will provide all the materials, delivery and installation of a new play structure and fabric shade structure with concrete pad at Natchez Park. The selected contractor will work closely with the project manager from the City throughout the installation of the new play structure. Staff will forward neighborhood selected play structure proposal recommendation to the City Council for signature by the mayor and the City Manager.
