Bids can be mailed to the Town of Seiling, PO Box 1043, Seiling, Oklahoma, 73663. Offerors are responsible for submitting proposals, and any modifications or revisions, so as to reach the office designated in the solicitation by the time specified in the solicitation. Any proposal, modification, or revision received at the office designated in the solicitation after the exact time specified for receipt of offers is "late" and will not be considered. No facsimile, telephone, or electronic copies will be accepted. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total amount bid shall be attached to all bids as a guarantee that the successful bidder will within ten (10) days from the date of notice of award, enter into contract and file the required bonds, and furnish a certificate of Workers' Compensation and General Contractors Liability Insurance. A certified check may be used in lieu of the bid bond. A performance bond and a payment/statutory bond, each in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price and each with a corporate surety approved by the Owner, will be required for the faithful performance of the contract. The Town of Seiling reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any irregularities or technicalities without assigning any reason therefore, and to make the awards in the best interest of the Owner. (Bid shall be awarded to the lowest, responsive and responsible bidder). No Bidder may withdraw his bid within 45 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Owner may waive any informalities or minor defects or reject any and all bids. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the above-scheduled time for the opening of bids or authorized postponement thereof. Any bid received after the time and date specified shall not be considered. No bidder may withdraw a bid within 45 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Should there be reasons why the contract cannot be awarded within the specified period; the time may be extended by mutual agreement between the Owner and the bidders.
