Renovation of a water / sewer project in Urbana, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The project shall include removal of the four (4) existing extended shaft pumps and discharge piping in the lift station and replacement with four (4) submersible pumps sized for 2,000 gpm each and installation of new 10" and 18" effluent piping. Existing electrical infrastructure within the lift station will also be removed and replaced. Proposed electrical items include a pad mount transformer, secondary electrical feeder with duct bank, 200A rated automatic transfer switch, pump motor control center, and other miscellaneous starters, receptacles, and controls. This Project is located at: Mathews Ave. lift station - east side of Mathews between Green St. and Springfield Ave, near the Boneyard Creek. The construction cost estimate for this project is $1.1 to $1.2M.
