The Project is located within the Town of Orange Park's, Wastewater Treatment Plant, at 700 Ash Street in Orange Park, Florida. The major work elements include, but are not limited to, the following: a. Totally de-grit existing surge tank and remove all foreign material from interior. b. Blast tank to remove rust and old coatings, inside and out. c. Cut and remove all damaged metal and replace with new. d. Replace metal walkway components as indicated on the plans. e. Fabricate and install new walkway as indicated on the plans. f. Coat the tank interior with High Performance Coatings as specified. g. Coat the tanks exterior with High Performance Coatings as specified. Bidders must submit with the Bid, documentation that they have constructed similar type work completed during the past five years with references. Each bidder must include a resume and qualifications for their proposed on-site supervision superintendent. Said Superintendent shall have maintained continuous employment with bidder for a minimum of three years.The successful bidder will be required, upon award, to furnish a 100% Performance and Payment Bond, with a Surety acceptable to Owner. Each bid proposal shall remain binding for at least 90 days after the scheduled bid date. The Owner shall have the right to reject any or all bids or to reject bids, which are in any way incomplete or irregular. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to reject all bids and re-advertise, or to reject all bids without further action, in the Owner's best interest.
