A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The New York State Office of General Services Design and Construction Group (D&C), on behalf of the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision (DOCCS), is seeking Letters of Interest from qualified architectural/engineering firms to provide consulting, design, bid and construction phase services design for window replacement project(s) at Auburn Correctional Facility, Auburn, NY. Replace Windows, Housing Blocks C, D, E, Buildings 2, 3 & 4 Location: Auburn Correctional Facility, 135 State St Auburn, NY 13021 NYSCR Category: Architectural, Engineering & Surveying - Construction Professional Services Term: 5 Years MBE Goal: 15% WBE Goal: 15% SDVOB Goal: 6% Firms are expected to provide high quality architectural design services for a variety of buildings for the Department of Corrections and Community Supervision. Assignments may include the following: 1. Renovations and rehabilitation of existing structures and facilities. 2. Compliance with the latest building code including review of work done by others for compliance with applicable codes. 3. Application of energy efficiency and sustainability in compliance with the Governor's Executive Order 22. The firm(s) must also be experienced in providing Commissioning services. 4. A minor requirement of fire protection/fire alarm engineering, structural/civil/site engineering, and architecture. 5. Hazardous material investigation and design services for the remediation/removal of such materials as part of the work of this contract. 6. Possible construction management and/or construction inspection services as advisor to the owner. 7. Services can be provided by the proposed design team including sub-consultants.
